Beidou industry collaborative development platform of central enterprises was established

On May 14, the unveiling and online opening ceremony of Beidou industrial collaborative development platform, a central enterprise, was held in Beijing. Ren Hongbin, member of the Party committee and deputy director of SASAC, attended the event and delivered a speech, while Zhuang Shuxin, Deputy Secretary General of SASAC, presided over the event.
Ren Hongbin pointed out that the SASAC Party committee resolutely implemented the decision-making and deployment of the CPC Central Committee, vigorously guided and promoted the central enterprises to speed up the scale, industrialization and internationalization of Beidou, and achieved positive results: relevant central enterprises actively undertake all kinds of major national Beidou engineering tasks, effectively promote the service capacity of Beidou; vigorously carry out Beidou application, put into use Beidou terminal sets Rapid growth, added one in 2019 to 20% one year, and one belt, one road, more than 80 countries and regions, to promote Beidou application based on overseas business resources and major construction projects. He stressed that relevant central enterprises should take the establishment of Beidou industry collaborative development platform as an opportunity to strengthen integration and application, strengthen collaborative development, and make greater contributions to the construction of "China's Beidou, the world's Beidou and the first-class Beidou".
Beidou industry collaborative development platform of central enterprise is initiated and established by the affiliated units of central enterprises, such as ordnance industry group, aerospace science and technology, China Electronics Technology, China Petroleum, State Grid, China Mobile, China Electronics, state machinery group, COMAC, China communication, China railway construction, and China Communications Group. Beidou Application Research Institute of ordnance industry group serves as the first director unit of the platform. The platform is committed to promoting the scale, characteristics, industrialization and internationalization of Beidou application, and better serving the national strategy, national security, national defense construction and economic and social development.
Three central enterprises, i.e. ordnance industry group, State Grid and China Mobile, made speeches as representatives. Representatives of the SASAC, the Ministry of science and technology, the Ministry of industry and information technology, the China satellite navigation system management office, the Beijing satellite navigation center and 12 sponsors attended the meeting in the main venue. Nearly 50 leaders of central enterprises and Beidou departments attended the meeting at the branch venue.
